Cumnor Construction Ltd. carried out the role of Works Contractor and PSCS for this project.

The works involved the construction of twenty-one luxury houses in a mixture of two and three bedroom properties. The houses achieved A Energy rating.

External works included new foul and storm water systems, watermains and all services, construction of roads and paths and the installation of lighting.  There are substantial reinforced concrete retaining walls included in the siteworks also.

The works were carried out within Kinsale Town, a busy tourist destination. The roads within the town are narrow and often one-way traffic is allowed. Traffic management plans were therefore designed in order to co-ordinate deliveries to the site. This required having larger deliveries to the site during off peak times as roads were often required to close temporarily in order to facilitate the deliveries.

Noise, dust and vibration control measures were in place in order not to impact the neighbouring environment.

The project involved the construction of Twelve luxury apartments. Site services were installed and the area was fully landscaped.

The work was carried out within narrow streets. Consequently, traffic management plans were designed and implemented in order to co-ordinate deliveries to the site. This required having larger deliveries to the site during off peak times as roads were often required to close temporarily in order to facilitate the delivery.

The project involved the construction of Ninety-Three Apartment and duplex complexes with a central courtyard at Knapps Square, Cork City. The buildings were constructed of a mixture of reinforced concrete and blockwork walls, along with steel element structures.  All floors were pre – cast slabs.  The elevations were constructed of limestone, brick and monocuse plaster.

Because of site restrictions, the works were carried out in phases so as not to impact adversely on this busy city centre location.

The works involved the construction of twenty luxury houses, a sports retail shop and a clock tower gated entrance. The houses were a mixture of semi-detached, duplexes and detached units. The site was located within the grounds of the Lee Valley Golf Club and clubhouse which remained opened for the duration of the works.

Accommodation comprised 3-4 bedrooms, an ensuite, a living/dining area, main bathroom and balcony. The front porches were clad in Liscannor Stone.

The works involved the construction of thirty five detached two storey houses, a large green area with associated landscaping, a stone walled entrance and all associated services.

The location of this site through an existing housing estate meant that detailed planning of deliveries were required so as to keep disruption to neighbouring dwellings to a minimum.
