WHAT IS SUBSIDENCE?
Subsidence in house foundations usually occurs as a direct consequence of the action of water. This water washes away the fines from the medium under the foundations thereby weakening it and allowing movement in the foundations. Repair of this damage is readily addressed by pressure grouting under the foundations, installing mini piles and cross-beams or a combination of these procedures.
