Permanent coastal protection works delivered in a challenging tidal and environmentally sensitive setting. The project combined soil nailing, ground anchors, shotcreting, reinforced concrete and gabion retaining walls to secure the seawall, with all works carefully programmed around low tides and live traffic conditions—providing a robust, long-term solution for Cork’s coastline.
