A major town-centre regeneration project delivering the refurbishment of the fire-damaged Briery Gap Theatre and Library alongside the construction of a new, modern cultural facility on Main Street, Macroom. The works combined sensitive demolition, structural reconstruction and new-build construction to create a fully accessible, multi-storey theatre and library, while also carrying out associated refurbishment works to adjoining properties. Delivered within a highly constrained urban environment, the project required careful traffic management, stakeholder coordination and noise control to successfully reinstate this important civic and cultural landmark at the heart of the town.
