A landmark coastal civic development delivering a new multi-use seafront building and public space at Seaview Terrace, Bettystown. The project involved the demolition of existing structures and the construction of a contemporary three- and four-storey facility accommodating a lifeguard station, public toilets and a modern public library, alongside detached single-storey ancillary buildings.

The development created a strong civic presence at the interface between town and beach, with generous public realm spaces, universal access routes, steps and ramps providing seamless connections to the seafront and panoramic coastal views. Delivered within a constrained, live environment beside public roads, active services and neighbouring buildings, the project required careful coordination, robust safety management and high-quality construction to create a durable, accessible and welcoming community asset on the coastline.
