Dream your Career Day

Cumnor Construction was proud to support and participate in the annual Dream Your Career Day held at Cork City Hall on Wednesday, 10 December 2025. The event brought together almost 300 students from across Cork for a lively careers progression expo designed to inspire and inform young people about future pathways.

Organised by Cork ETB in collaboration with Youthreach, Cork Community Training Centres and the Department of Social Protection, Dream Your Career Day featured more than 80 employer and apprenticeship stands along with representatives from third-level institutions and youth services. Students had the opportunity to speak directly with professionals from a wide range of sectors, helping them explore options for further education, training and employment.

Cumnor Construction was represented at the event by Terry O’Neill, who engaged with students about careers in construction and answered questions on the diverse opportunities available within the industry. Terry’s presence helped highlight the rewarding and varied career paths that a company like Cumnor can offer to those considering their future directions.

We were delighted to be part of an event that supports young people in planning their careers and encourages them to consider the wide range of possibilities available to them.
